About The Partnership!

The North Suffolk Sport and Health Partnership was formed in September 2017 with a clear purpose of supporting our local primary schools to meet the demands of the new health and wellbeing focus from the Government.

The Partnership traditionally covers schools from Lowestoft and Beccles. The evolution of this partnership started back in 2006, under the banner of Lowestoft and Beccles School Sports Partnership. In September 2011 due to government funding cuts, the partnership downsized and became North Suffolk School Games. With the current increase in PE Premium Funding to our local schools, our partnership has taken on the national challenge of increasing the amount of physical activity our pupils do each day.

Our Partnership is now run by our Partnership Development Manager (PDM) Jeffrey Hoey, who has been with us since 2011. As PDM HIS role is funded by the government over three days a week, with the other two days funded by the partnerships health membership package. These additional days allow us to support schools with all the new work around Physical Activity, Active Classrooms, Mental Wellbeing and Active Travel etc.

Our Areas Of Work
